Tito Puente, Machito and a parade of Mambo legends swept  through the Bay Area and inspired audiences and musicians to new heights.   The Macumba club in Chinatown showcased the hot cha-cha-cha and mambos of Cal Tjader and brought together people of all ethnicities .
